When shopping for a detailer there are several options in the Valley. Here at Liquid Gypsy we are an honest, hardworking, customer service oriented business. We pride ourselves on top quality work and these are some things we do to bring that quality to you our client. We are International Detailers Association tested and certified. We use top quality commercial products that can be found nowhere in the Valley. These products are purchased from Manufacturers in The SF Bay Area that have been in the business since the 70's and are constantly improving and innovating with the times. We also purchase from manufacturers in Los Angeles and New York that are also top of the line producers. Many of these products are only sold to commercial detailers that are members of the International Detailers Association. You will not find any other detailers in the Valley using these products. We take workshops and classes through these companies to learn how to use these products properly so that you the customer can be sure that you are getting the best work and quality for your money. Sadly many detailers are using products bought from AutoZone or Walmart that are for beginners. They are also selling spray waxes as protective coating which are not. Spray waxes are simply to create a temporary shine they are not to protect your vehicles paint. I have made a list of simple questions you can ask your detailer so you can be sure you are receiving the service and product they are pitching.
What brand products are you using?
Have you been taught or instructed on how to use these products?
What kind of wax or sealant are you using and how long will it last?
What interior cleaners are you using and is there UV protection?
Do you use a leather conditioner after cleaning to prevent drying and cracking?
What carpet and upholstery cleaner are you using?
Will you return if the stains return in a day or 2?
Are you insured and what kind of insurance do you use?
I hope this helps you to be a little more aware of the service you are purchasing.
